1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of The List application and website ("Service"), published by Lineage HQ FZ LLC, Dubai, UAE. By using The List, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Acceptable use

The List is for personal and family use. You agree not to:

• Use the Service for commercial purposes without our written permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or copy the Service.
• Add content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service.
• Share your account credentials outside your authorised family group.

3. Family sharing and minor profiles

The List is designed for family groups. You may invite family members to share lists. When you create a profile for a minor, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian and that you consent on their behalf. You are responsible for all activity on your family group account.

4. Subscription terms

The List offers subscription plans. Prices are displayed in the App Store at checkout. Subscriptions are auto-renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Billing is handled by Apple. Lineage HQ does not store payment details.

Refunds: Handled by Apple per Apple's refund policy. Visit Apple's Report a Problem page.

Cancellation: Via iPhone Settings — Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at end of the billing period.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the places, notes, and lists you add to The List. You grant Lineage HQ a limited licence to store and display that content to you and your authorised family group. You are responsible for ensuring any content you add does not infringe third-party rights.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lineage HQ's total liability for any claim arising from use of The List is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. The Service is provided as-is.

7. Termination

You may stop using The List at any time by deleting the app and contacting us to delete your account. We may suspend access if you breach these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 90 days.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

9. Changes

Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
